A great tank simulation game, no repairing your parts or anything. Good if you want to escape from a certain snail but still want to play tank games

If you want a PVE tank game that works offline that also is not arcade, this might be for you. You need to use commander binoculars to find targets, range finders to hit them, as you can't just push into anything blind. Use different optics for different conditions like night, as not every tank even has high tech night vision. As even infantry in trenches can instantly take out your tank if you get close enough without seeing them. So it's not forgiving always, but satisfying once it all clicks. The game now also has tutorial levels for each tank explaining how the different rangefinders etc work. So you can spend time on the firing range to perfect it in any condition. It's been in early access for a few years now. But it's been getting constant updates, new tanks added, graphics overhauls, and the devs have developer update streams on YT to show upcoming content now and then too. So you can tell it's a passion project well worth your money.

It's like playing War Thunder but the tanks are accurate and the gameplay doesn't land you in the psych ward / federal prison. This will get even cooler when we can play with friends.

After a few too many beers, I finally bought that game. Thankfully, my poor judgement did not burn me this time... or it hasn't burned me yet. I recommend this game, but with the utmost caution for the buyer. Please bear with me in this drunken explanation... Like many others reviewing this game, I too am a refugee of the dreaded snail. I am also a refugee of a few other tanks games... one involving 15 v 15 battles, in which I was a competitive player with a unicum ranking. I was also a supporter of another online tank game, first developed by the same company that made a fallout game (the good-er one), then developed by someone else... and I poured many hours into both of those games. (If you don't know what I mean, all you need to know is that I played a lot of tank games and that I was good at them... I refuse to mention the games themselves or the devs involved, screw them.) The point is, tank games have sucked for a long time. For more than a decade, us tank gamers have been beaten, abused, neglected, and lied to by the people in charge of these games. Predatory monetization, unfair balance changes, shitty servers, pay-to-win mechanics... us online tankers saw it all, long before most other gamers experienced it. This is the breath of fresh air. One time payment, and I own the game. I can load into missions that are challenging, but not impossible. The gameplay is engaging, the sound design is very good, the graphics run fine on this crappy 6 year old gaming PC that desperately needs a better graphics card... If you have modern hardware it will run just fine. Radian Simulations LLC, whoever you are, please, for the Love of God, finish this game. Take your time if you have to, but PLEASE finish it. At this point, tank gamers are like abused wives, and you are our fourth marriage. Please do not betray the shred of trust we have left. TLDR: Good game but still early access hope it gets finished , will edit this when not drunk EDIT: If any of you are from the old TAT or TAT2 clan back on the 15v15 game, add me, it's Mel. EDIT 2: I've played it for a bit now, and damn, it plays well. There's some stuff that needs work, but for an early access game, there's a solid foundation here. 50 hours in and it's just as much fan as any other tank game. Any complaints I have (wonky AI, detailed crew, more vehicles) are addressed on the development "roadmap" on the website or in developer FAQs on their youtube channel.

i served in the Queens Royal Irish Hussars, a gunner in the Chieftain Mark IV (Cold War West Germany, shows how old I am), and I've been waiting for a decent tank simulator for many years. In Gunner, Heat. PC I have found it. The game has me hooked and I can't keep away from it. I have only one caveat, though: I do hope that the developers stay with this game and continue to work at it; I think it will be as rewarding for them as it will be for its growing band of players.
