I'm 69, turning 70 this year. I've been gaming since Atari 2600. Silent Service, and any simulation game since I've been into, amongst so many others. I have fond memories of old tank simulators. Loved them. Not really impressive graphics wise, but so much fun. That type of game died years ago. Gunner, HEAT, PC! comes along and brings back those memories. Only after spending an hour in Tutorial and playing with all the commands (easily available via F1 key), I am totally hooked on this simulator. This is the first Early Access Game I have ever paid for, but it triggered that "can't wait to experience what I loved in tank simulations in the past" feeling and couldn't stop myself. It truly is easy to play, though some things I have to figure out (range setting with Russian tanks), but it was an awesome experience. Free camera was a blast, tank models were exceptional, after action review excellent. I haven't experienced the true meat and potatoes of this game, but just on the Tutorial, can't wait till the finished product. Worth every penny of the Early Access cost.

Very detailed simcade style tank game with fully modeled tank components similar to War Thunder but single player only and not trying to steal your wallet constantly. The game is early access but the devs regularly update the game and add content. The devs are very dedicated to the point they reinvented a lost German thermal sight by finding old design documents to make the Marder more realistic. Let me repeat that so you understand how crazy that is. The devs dug up 40+ year old design documents (after the German government refused to let them access their archives) to a thermal sight that no longer exists, reverse engineered it, and recreated it in the game so the one variant of the Marder that used it would be historically accurate. If that doesn't say something about their passion for this game, I don't know what does.

> started practicing with the M1 Abrams > super easy laser range finder and gun systems, even a child can understand it > all target destroyed and no miss > so excited of the result i wanted to try soviet tanks > tried T-55 > no laser range finder, no coincidence rangefinder > missed so many target that the commander started yelling at me and panicking > started crying over the commander's chew out > best tank game I've ever played 11/10 recommended
