Verdict: Quite a neat little game that can be finished in 2.5 hours without rushing it. Recommended if you are into the incremental games. + Positives + + Steam achievements (18, really easy) + Easy to learn, even with missing ingame explanations everything is clear + A lot of enemies to slay (rats, shamans, orcs, goblins ...) + Tons of skills to buy + There are decent levels of decisions to go for (risk / reward) + The game loop is actually quite fun + The numbers go crazy if you are into that (at the end you will be getting about 40 billion gold per run) + The runs are really short, fun for a quick bursts + Can be played with just a mouse (including movement) – Negatives – - No steam trading cards - The game doesn¨t support Steam cloud saving somehow - Music loop is really short - Often a bit too flashy for photo sensitive users
Very short incremental survivour. Took me around 3 hours, but can probably be done much faster. There isn't that much to it but it's solid enough. There is nothing in reagards of building each run, There are som tarot card that give minor buffs and the smith that gives you random items but that's it and since the upgrades scale in cost and power you can't really go down different paths in the skill tree when you upgrade your different weapons. You can just as well upgrade everything at the lower branch before going forward. I do feel the incremental upgrade design doesn't work as well with a survivour game loop as you might think, or perhaps it just needs tweaks to get the balance right. But it looks like there will be updates so that's nice. Hopefully they can expand both in the balance and content, it would be nice to have different weapons to chose from. The achievements are just playing the game, You will get 100% when you finish the last room and upgrade everything.
11 hours includes about 8-9 hours of idle time. When I scrolled out of the skill tree I got excited, but my excitement turned to disappointment later. Games is fun, way too short. Adding a prestige system would go a long ways towards replayability and actually make it feel like an incremental game. I hope the dev adds more, because this has a lot of potential, it just comes up short in replayabilty and depth. Also the hammer is pretty lame. Adding something like a boomerang would be more interactive. I'm recommending with the hope that there are more updates to come.
