First, I loved This Bed We Made. I was super excited to play this new entry and I was spoiled. The last stretch of the game put me through a real range of emotions. A few conversations in particular got to me. The writing handles heavy, human stuff with a lot of care and it never feels cheap about it. I'm already planning a second playthrough to see how different choices play out. Thank you for this. Seriously talented work.

Sophie is back with a brand new game. A few years after the events of the first game, she has now become a stewardess on a ship. One morning, your boss approaches you and tells you about some passengers complaining about missing personal belongings. He will set you up for a mission and let you snoop around the passengers' room. Sophie, an expert snooper, went ahead and checked every room in her assigned area, learning secrets and hoping to find the real culprit. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3779193293 The whole game is indoors; the graphics and character design looked good, though I felt like Sophie looked quite different from the first game. The details in each room are nice; it makes you wonder who the real thief is and what each person is hiding. I liked the voice acting and the cutscenes. The choices do have consequences; there are two routes to take, and you'll get a different ending for each. Your past choices in the previous game do take effect as well if you choose them at the beginning of the game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3779193214 There are only a couple of puzzles, and they were very easy to solve. The game is mostly about walking and checking items, collecting evidence, and knowing what to say to people. The journal is helpful for keeping track of each person's room belongings and the evidence you found there. The profile of each person is also a great help in remembering who is who. The soundtrack is almost nonexistent; the game is pretty quiet, but the few soundtracks at the cutscenes and ending credits were very good. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3779193327 Pros: +Good story. +Good graphics. +Choices and consequences. +Fully Voice-overs. +Few but good soundtracks. +Good journal. (Keeps track of evidence of each room and characters' profiles, as well as Sophie's thoughts) +Skippable cutscenes. +Multiple endings depending on your choices. +Steam achievements. Cons: -No manual save. -Short. While it is shorter than the original, it was still a pleasant follow-up to play. I do hope to see another game with Sophie in the future. A nice little follow-up to This Bed We Made. It's definitely short, but for the price I think it's worth it. I also really appreciated that the game lets you choose whether to carry over the decisions from the main game or start fresh. It was a small touch that made the experience feel more personal.

Very short yet very good game. It brought back memories. Wish it was longer

It's too damn short and lacks any meaningful choices that made the first game special and the story feels rushed. But despite that, it's still as charming as the first one and I like Sophie is given some closure (although the post-credit scene clearly sets up game 3, so hopefully it won't be as rushed as this one).
