It's a short game, I did everything in 6 hours. A few bad things, mostly good. Bad things: Birds don't do anything except a fun fact, the dog may as well not be there, there's no actual ending, you don't finish the monster side of the card page. You have to use beer to replenish energy, and the pool does nothing but makes it more difficult at times. Good things: The game is a fun way to pass time mindlessly. You'll get a few hours of entertainment out of it, and that's worth the price imo. The soundtrack has no right being this good. Like it's a 10/10 in a 6/10 game. I wish we could turn off specific songs though. The upgrades are pretty good, the portal is useful, the cart holds a lot more than what it says if you let it, the Power is for picking up, not yeeting trash bags. The cart isa very useful to just throw valuables in, then press E and E again at the shelves to put them on super easily. Overall I enjoyed this for what it was, looking forward to the release in 2 days for the next game in the series, I just hope there's more variety in it, and a proper ending.
Is it rough around the edges? Yes. Do you, and the dog bug out at times? Yup? Does it scratch a collectathon itch? Somewhat. If it's on sale and you've completed better games of the genre (such as Acane: Tidy Up The Arcane Library), I'd reccommend it. If anyone has any game reccommendations similar feel free to comment, I'm in love with this genre at the moment.
Not a bad game. People are harsh on their review cuz this is a simple, maybe 4-hour mindless game with a 'complete-the-objective' idea similar to Lumberjacked or Power Wash Simulator. It's buggy, but it's like any grindy collection game. Sometimes you have to go back to the menu to reset a bug. Overall, it was entertaining and easy to 100%. It would be nice to have an upgrade that will auto-drink beers for you at max or something, little QoL to make the ending grind a little less boring, but it's cute and has a nice personality. Get it on sale and listen to something in the background while you play.
I’m the type who loves playing cleaning games, and I also collect cards myself… so this game is absolutely perfect. It doesn’t require much, and it’s relatively quick to finish, but super cozy. Highly recommended if you like sorting, cleaning, and have a soft spot for birds and dogs 😉
