I think this was a great horror game. I does have a few similarities with other games of the genre but it's approach was also unique and interesting. Genuinely scary, but not cheap in it's delivery. Good lenght for the price. Could use a little bit of help on the story telling and methods but I still liked it. I give this game a solid 6.8/10 -x

As you can see by my 2 hour playtime, I finished the game in its entirety in such a short period of time. I initially enjoyed the demo and this game is decent enough if you're looking to kill a few hours in a realistic looking first person horror game. For what the game does correctly, unfortunately there's a lot that needs serious improvement or should be added to the game as a whole. Criticisms and feedback for improvement listed below. Criticisms 1. The game introduces a set of 4 rules, and rules 3 and 4 are only used in like 1 or 2 levels max. I don't understand why the game sets up this mechanic as if its to be followed for the rest of the experience. I believe you hit the blue button a total of 1 time and rule 3 is adopted 1 time as well. I would've liked to see significantly more levels utilizing this feature, or levels similar to level 1 2. Simply put, the game is a little too short for its price in my opinion. Although if you are willing to support a solo developer, its not totally egregious given its playtime. 3. The "Voice Says" level was one of my favorites from a conceptual standpoint, but the final instruction with the fuse box is far too finicky. Having to click such a tiny item in the correct place multiple times while being chased by the monster creates a less than positive game experience, and specifically making a mistake in that segment (or losing and having to restart) made that level become my least favorite considering how long it took to redo the entire section from scratch. 4. The "Spot the difference" level was also one of my favorites, but was unbalanced since you only needed to hop back and forth between two rooms (which were thankfully close to one another). I personally struggled with this one for far too long (skill issue I know). But I still enjoyed this level nonetheless. 5. The final level was set up to either be the most obnoxious, or the easiest, depending on your approach. I used the notes app on my phone to keep record of all the morse code answers. Without this strategy of keeping track of your previous answers, this level becomes unclearable. Additionally, the Voice never repeated the first room you needed to find, meaning if you happened to forget or weren't paying attention, you would technically need to blindly open doors until you remember the first door that wont kill you. Minor detail and isn't a big deal since its easy to remember, but figured it was worth noting. Suggestions for Improvement 1. This is probably the biggest improvement and is more subjective since this is something I personally would've loved to see. But it would've been fascinating if at the end of the game (since the ending reveals a loop of you turning into Patient 11), you were told somehow that there were secret items or buttons scattered around the game, leading to an alternative or True Ending. Since you only needed to explore a few rooms per level, this would've been a great way to both A) Utilize empty space by encouraging players to deviate from the voice and look around further for hidden clues and secrets, and B) Given the player a good reason to stick around and play the entire game again since its so short, player retention is always a good thing. This concept can obviously be further expanded on and explained but I think we all get the idea. 2. A functional pause button. I'm unsure if this is intentional or not, but just in case its not, pausing the game does nothing other than pull up options for your settings and whatnot. 3. As stated in my criticisms, simply more levels would've been nice and appreciated. It doesn't have to be anything mechanically interesting either. A level where you need to enter every room once and hit a button while a blind monster roams the halls, a level where you need to read notes on the walls that lead you to other rooms in the house or give details on where to find hidden items. Anything of that nature Beyond that though I will say I think the game is overall fine for what its worth, I'm glad I got to play it and I hope the dev earns some nice cash and can continue to improve the game or games in the future. TLDR: Decent game, short experience. I got scared a few times lol. If anyone wishes to respond to my comment, my YT Channel is CapnCanon

A VERY good horror game for the price! Interesting story and concept, with enough challenge to keep it engaging! I will say there was a little bit of tedium with certain parts of the game, namely the test with the fuse box. The test itself is very slow paced while the monster chases you and speeds up as you fail. That said, the 3 pick-ups for the fuse box are timegated, and cannot be picked up before the Voice says to. After doing this, you must intereact with the fuse box 3 separate times and kite the monster to do so, all while guessing WHERE on the fguse box to click to make it accept the part. This got me killed because i then "ignored the Voice's commands" and the monster sped up and killed me. So I had to repeat the same process again which was VERY annoying. Lastly, I will comment on an accessibility suggestion cause I was quite surprised by the lack of it: I myself am not hearing impaired, but I am a streamer with several viewers that have difficulties with hearing. 2 of the tests require you to listen actively for noises/cues to solve the test. Including identifying different "songs" and decoding morse code via beeping. The game offers subtitles, like all should. However for these auditory puzzles they offer no sort of accessibility for anyone with hearing impairments and the subtitles just say "*music plays*", etc. Very odd to have subtitles for the game, but not some sort of alternate/visual puzzle alternative. For example for the morse code you could simply have a light blinking along with the morse code beeps to help with this. Just a suggestion.
