Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order I’ll be honest — I’ve never watched a single Star Wars movie before playing Jedi: Fallen Order. I barely knew who the Jedi even were. But despite that, this game completely drew me in and made me curious about the entire Star Wars universe. From the start, Fallen Order impressed me with its cinematic storytelling and emotional depth. Cal Kestis’ journey felt relatable even without knowing the broader lore. The way the game slowly unveils his past and trauma kept me hooked, and the bond with BD-1? Instant favorite. The world-building, characters, and set pieces all felt so grand and immersive that I didn’t feel left out — instead, I felt pulled in. Gameplay-wise, it’s a satisfying blend of exploration, puzzle-solving, and Souls-like combat. The lightsaber combat is incredibly fun, and using the Force powers just never gets old. The level design reminded me of Metroidvania-style games, with a real sense of reward for backtracking and unlocking new paths. What’s wild is that by the end of the game, I actually wanted to watch the movies and learn more about this galaxy far, far away. Jedi: Fallen Order didn’t just entertain me — it turned me into a curious fan of a franchise I had ignored for years. You don’t need to be a Star Wars expert to enjoy this game. It stands strong on its own, but it also opens the door to a much bigger universe. Now, I’ve got a watchlist full of Star Wars content — all thanks to one game.

The game is good, but there's quite a few things that prevent it from being great. If you like constant backtracking and puzzles that make no sense, while also having a super simple solution, this game is for you. The problem is that tons of area's are locked on different planets, and you have to play several hours of the game in order to get a skill to go back and unlock the areas.... without a fast travel system.. So you end up going through the same areas like 10 times, and its straight up boring, because then you have to run all the way back to your ship, and then come back to the same planet again like 3 hours later as you gain another skill. The game has the same gameplay loop, fight 5 enemies, go through a crack in the wall, climb up a vine, and that's pretty much it.

Spent half the game missing jumps and the other half getting outsmarted by stormtroopers with suspiciously good aim. Cal’s journey is epic, my skills are laughable, and the lightsaber fights are worth every accidental cliff dive. Perfect for those who enjoy a little humiliation with their heroics.

Superb gameplay. Pros: Okayish story, maybe because I'm not a star wars nerd. Sekiro-ish combat but a lot easier except boss fights. Uncharted type of exploring and parkour. Puzzles are moderately easy. Visuals are stunning. Cons: Every map is a maze, getting back to the ship was painful :( Overall: Solid 8/10 would recommend to anyone. Bought it in the sale - worth the money.
