Cute, interesting, and silly platformer with some twin stick combat mixed in. It also has a partially simulated world with NPCs appearing to go about their days, which is very uncommon for the genre. Difficulty was a step higher than I expected; it's no Spelunky but the final boss and Redav Kned's guesthouse gave me some trouble. If there was anything about the game I didn't like... it was Redav Kned's guesthouse. Wuppo was never going to set the world on fire, but it knows what it wants to do and does it very well. I feel $10 USD is a fair price for this in 2025.

I love silly wum game! The guys are very silly. I got this on Switch, but since I couldn't do the Boss Run, I decided to get it on Steam (luckily, when I got it here, it was on sale). Very silly. Somehow has deep lore. 11/10, would recommend. I just wish there was more of it, as it is a short game when you know what you're doing (and I do). Gladly Breft Festival is coming out "soon," so that's something to look forward to. To summarize: buy Wuppo and you will be very happy (as Snekflat says)

A charming game with a whimsical world that is a joy to discover. The lively environments, fitting music, and well realized world building immersed me into its setting. I enjoyed the mundane activities like travelling on public transportation, waiting in lines for amusement rides and delivering newspapers. It made the locations more believable. It felt like I was not the center of the universe but a single participant. I liked the game slightly less towards the end when it became more heroic and epic.

Playtime: 26 hrs Very cute graphics but very hard game for an action game newbie like me. Overall it was a fun game but I don’t think I will ever improve enough to get all the achievements with the boss run. I saw the dev put up a new game in the making but haven’t heard any news on it. I wonder where they are now in terms of the development.
