Solid entry that feels like a refined version of the first game's best ideas. Several missions are actually remakes of Codename 47 levels but with much better execution and controls. The darker, more serious tone works well and some missions like the hotel and slaughterhouse are genuinely creepy. Graphics and gameplay mechanics are polished compared to earlier entries. Feels a bit shorter than other games in the series and some missions can be pretty challenging. The whole flashback framing device is interesting but doesn't add that much.

Full Hitman IOI Vibes Rating: 8.5/10 [url=https://www.moddb.com/games/hitman-contracts/addons/hitman-contracts-unofficial-patch] FIRST, FIX THE GAME WITH THIS PATCH. Then set hitman contracts exe file compatibility mode to Windows 7, set FPS limit as 58 in Nvidia/AMD Control Panel. Play. Game is fantastic, much fewer bugs than Hitman 2 and still fun. If you are going for complete stealth gameplay, read game rating mechanics [url=https://hitman.fandom.com/wiki/Difficulty_Level/Silent_Assassin#Hitman:_Contracts] here . Basically Never Kill Civilians, max 2 alerts or max 1 alert with 1 guard kill. The cleaner the better. Good luck, 47!

Few years ago I used to play the pirated version of the game since I couldn't afford it as a kid and my parents wouldn't buy me this game. I still love it 100% recomend it

This game is the one i have the most fun and most time spent back in the day. My favorite missions were the butcher and the submarine missions. God knows how many times i tried to do these missions as sneakily as possible in my younger years. I remember talking with my cousins about these how these missions were the best in the game and how much each of us had with this game. The passing of years haven't been kind on the game, but you can still have some fund even tho the controls will fight you.

It's no secret that Contracts is the rushed compromise of a game designed to reuse as many things as possible to hold our attention for the real Hitman sequel. Still, in my humble opinion, this is the first game in the series that truly holds up today, and I absolutely love it. I judge Hitman games on how fun it is to figure out a Silent Assassin way through them; this is why I play the series. Contracts is the first one where it's fun all the way through, partly because they fixed the psychotic Hitman 2 AI. Never in this game did I ask myself, "What in the hеll did I ever do to them?" The rules were crystal clear almost every time. Another reason is that the level design is just way more consistent. The worst levels in this game are just okay; there are no unbelievable stinkers like the Rotterdam/Colombia levels from Codename 47 and Hidden Valley from Hitman 2. Moreover, for the first time in the series, around four levels made it to my favorites for one reason or another. One of those is the "Traditions of the Trade" level, and thus we must talk about the elephant in the room. Yes, more than half of them are taken straight from Codename 47, but if you ask me, this is a blessing in disguise because the alternative is playing Codename 47. Seriously, have you tried to do that lately? They ported literally everything worth a dаmn from that game, and all of it plays way better. The Rotterdam boat mission even got a complete makeover and is no longer pure cancer. Contracts has the most unique vibe in the series. It's dark, moody, and nightmarish, and I adore it. The game is absolutely gorgeous too. Here, I tried to capture it to the best of my ability: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nwa9sbDFjAg
