This is an indie game made by a single developer, Chinese made. Draws upon the aesthetics and themes of the ENDER games, but is a turn based RPG instead of a Souls-inspired Metroidvania. You play a small ethereal girl trying to save the world from corruption by summoning spirits to fight for you. The exploration is as a side view platformer, with fairly large and detailed maps, lots of twists and opening shortcuts. While it seems like you'll eventually get Metroidvania style unlocks, you never get any, instead it's finding ways to deal with the many forms of corruption you're dealing with. Until you complete a few quests, it can be difficult to manage these corruption, poison, and burning environmental effects. Combat's great, you have to manage several resource pools to summon spirits, change stances (each of which gives you passives and a set of skills), use spells, and limited use per save items. There are a huge number of skills, passives, stances, and summonable spirits to assist you, and builds can get very complex. The combat felt great, flowed well, and there's a few bosses that require specific tricks to manage (there's usually ghosts giving a hint nearby if you get devastated). There's also a pretty extensive post-game, harder re-fights, a combat wave arena, and a boss rush, along with what looks like a really good NG+ system. The difficult is not that bad on normal, only a few mid and a single late game boss (plus the final boss re-fight but not the initial fight) caused me to wipe. There are difficulty options for more experienced and less experienced turn based RPG strategists. For the $8 I spent, I got 24 hours of enjoyment out of it. Visually it looks great, it makes excellent use of color and lighting. Music's quite good, mostly mellow piano music, with a few intense tracks for important boss fights. Sound effects are decent but a few come in very loud (such as the sound when attacking block, or using certain late game items). That said, it's a Chinese game and the translation (while better than Afterimage) is still not great, and it's a little tough to follow at times. I also ended up running into the final boss and was really surprised when I got the quest update to visit the town and talk to the people you saved. It seemed rather abrupt and I thought there would have been a boss that connected all the disparate groups and sources of corruption together. I also found a jump/movement glitch that could let me do a larger than normal jump in certain places. This happens when you jump against a sloped wall, there were only a few places I saw where you could get somewhere you probably shouldn't. I play on controller, as keyboard and mouse is painful to me, and while it did play decently well, there were some weird issues. Some tips and details screens were hard to access on controller, switching targets on your summons is a bit awkward to do (push in the right stick then move the right stick left or right, push in the right stick to switch back). Also I'd sometimes get persistent tooltips explaining the buffs or debuffs I had on stuck, I couldn't find a way to fix this without clicking the mouse and moving it off the edge of the screen so it didn't interfere. Overall still great and I liked it quite a bit!
I do recommend, but barely. The game is ok, but a bit slow, pacing could be better. Story is interesting but not great, translation and localization could also use a bit more work, you can get the idea of what it's saying sure, but it doesn't read or flow the best so you don't get sucked into it like you might if it was rewritten a bit better for english. The gameplay itself is interesting, a mix of metroidvana and little sprite turn based combat (limbus company/library of Ruina vibes for me), making it an interesting experieince. While overall good, again it's a bit slow paced and lacks variety in actual combat. Yes there are tons of different builds, stances, and lots of gear and options to customize stuff... But you really do have to just fall back to spamming shields for so many fights that your actual combat for many enemies never really can vary that much. Finding ways beyond shielding to survive would have been good for the game, but it is what it is for now. Overall, I do think it was an alright purchase, though did take awhile to play, and was nothing super enjoyable, just ok. So a slight recomend, worth getting on sale for those interested, but don't put off anything you really are excited about to play this one, it's a lower priority time killer I'd say.

Awesome game. The game games around 20-25 hours to fully complete. So it is quite cheap in that regard. Multiple builds, multiple ways to play. Translation to English is alright! There's some stuff right now (very little) that is not translated but the Dev is fixing them!(I've been reporting them on discord)
A beautiful indie turn based metroidvania made by single person developer. The combat is fun (if you like turn based), there's tons of customization, and the artstyle is amazing. Not to mention, the regional pricing is very wallet friendly. Seriously, this game need more exposure. That aside, the game is not perfect, especially in the translation aspect, although if you can bear with it, everything can still can be understood without much problem. There's also some untranslated stuff here and there, which can be slightly annoying but it has no impact on gameplay.
