A Very good game ive found by pure luck in the ocean of bad games flooding steam everyday. A mix of metroidvania ( for exploration) with turn based rpg attacks , a bit of darkest dungeon battle style. The art / music reminds a lot of ender magnolia. That´s something ive never seen like parries in Expedition 33. Excelent at full price
i only hve one regret... that finished silksong before this. Basicly is a game that is notice the love not only for ender lilies but to the community, to the turn combat and finally players time. Have different difficulty options started on hard, but one boss... aka tyrant make me rechange all and now think i could do it if explore more.. shame on me. After that got a strategy that at least normal will kill all too fast not sure of get all achivmentes but really is a good story and worth all secs that play this.
It's very solid. I liked the overall gameplay that it's like a metroidvania exploration with turn based combat, which is kinda unique for me, and it's very well executed. The overall vibe and atmosphere of the game quite reminded me of ENDER LILIES, but it has more unique artstyle to it. The musics is pleasing to hear, though some zone-triggered music changes can be a bit weird. For the story, I didn't really dig into it, I can only say the translations is fine and understandable. The combat is good. The stance mechanics is flexible enough for me to have different builds going. There's lots of variety on Insights skills to further improve my builds too. Other than that though I have some issues with it some of the systems. First is how they implement the Insight (passive skills) and Items available slots, where there's a Capacity mechanics, but also I only able to equips 8 Items and 10 Insights even when I got enough Capacity left to add another. Then the Items, I mostly use them for passive stats and rarely use it in battle because they're not really impactful. Another one is more of a feedback for the Restraint debuff effect on Dew, it would be nice to show the increased MP requirement on the skill card, so I don't have to math it out myself. Lastly, the ATK stats is kind of under performing compared to other stats, like ATK builds doesn't really match the damage output of shield parry build or damaging healing build, which is kinda funny. That being said, I enjoyed my time playing the game, so I think it's worth the full price.
