Quality of Death modpack and 60FPS mod is a must for making this game an actual remaster I beat SMTIII countless times on the original PS2 version and these mods is a blessing with bringing so many QoL updates, for example: - Upcoming skills are no longer hidden - Estoma & repulse bell finally guaranteed 100% no random encounter from enemies - Extra 1 press turn icon for bosses for additional extra challenge - Focus now affects magic spell as well making it more viable for magic builds - SMTV or SMTIV press turn icon system (depending to your liking to choose) And that's it i've been enjoying it so far. Beelzebub, Metatron and Lucifer are so much harder now thanks to the extra press turn icon, they completely kicked my ass so much lmao. Currently i'm waiting the Insaniax mod (still WIP IIRC) for my next playthrough oh and also don't for get to install the uncompressed soundtrack mod. Now please enjoy your masochistic desire.

You get to fight the Biblical Lucifer with Dante from Devil May Cry while having some sweet neon tribal tattoos and listening to lyrics that are transcribed from the Book of Revelation. If that doesn't get you hooked on this game, I don't know what will.

Dude, when you get this (if you get this), Download the Chronicle pack DLC too. It is free and it isn't included but includes all the extra content from the international release. you also have to select to play that mode. Do not play the game vanilla, you'll be missing out on a ton of content and resources which I screwed myself out of with realizing 30 hours into the freaking game. Pain. I wish that it just came on like normal, but no you have to jump through a few hoops to get the full game.

Install the free Chronicle DLC pack before playing since it doesn't come bundled with the game and without it, you miss out on a very, very large amount of content and the TDE ending. Not sure why it wasn't included in the remaster properly like the console versions, but other than that fun game :) (also the game is locked to 30FPS and 1080p but there's mods that can fix that)

The game itself is REALLY good, but there's lot of things missing and poorly made for a remaster. I'd say this version is stills better for playing than emulators (even tho you have to pay a good amount of money for the dlcs of a kinda old game) also good because of modding, you can fix alot of the games problem with only modding, but still, having to mod to make the game what it had to be is pretty sad imo. 10/10 game anyway
