Really great hidden gem. Beautiful visuals and a work of art landscapes and backgrounds. It’s everything you would probably want out of a Wuxia game outside of replayability but will keep you going for hours. Maybe one you could play again in new game + after not playing the game for a while. The demo was great and this game went up immediately on my wishlist and I bought it shortly after. I really liked the gameplay and the RTX effects in the water reflections especially. It’s a very beautiful game to look at. The story line keeps you interested and the exploration and combat is really fun. Just word of caution that the DLC is nothing like this game and I would not recommend it as it’s quite long and boring. This game along with Xuan Yaun Sword VII highly recommended on sale. These games are quite different but both really good and I look forward to seeing what the future brings from Softstar. 8/10

Overall it's a nice game, I'm on my second playthrough right now. The world looks beautiful, the playable characters look beautiful, the outfits are very pretty, there's some customisation if you've played a bit and I adore the little spirits. The fights are a little sloppy at times, and there are some minor stutters here and there. The English translation is unfortunately not that great - I personally can make up for it understanding basic Chinese, but I'm aware many other can't. The story isn't unbelievably long or insanely exciting, I still had a lot of fun. I recommend buying it on sale if you're into somewhat ancient Chinese stylisation. Mind, this isn't historically accurate and a phantasy setting with magic, spirits and deities. I'll give this game a 7/10.

There's no option to do a "mixed review" but this game is way below the bar Gujian 3 set as far as Chinese ARPG's go. Very predictable story, tropes all over the place. The combat, graphics, and music are all good but you really only get like 15 hours of it and 15 hours of just dialogue/cutscenes/fetch quests. Would only recommend on discount.

Beautiful game. If you love Chinese culture, you’ll enjoy this game. The graphics are amazing and the story is lovely. The translation could be better, and it would be great to have English audio in the future , but overall, it’s definitely worth a shot.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. The story was well-paced and engaging, and the music was fantastic. While the visuals aren't breathtaking, they are still quite impressive. If you don't mind a lot of cutscenes and enjoy the wuxia genre, you'll likely have a great time with this. Also, if you haven't already, be sure to check out Gujian 3—another excellent entry in the genre with much better combat! There are a few things I didn't like. The combat feels a bit clunky at times, and I found that some actions didn’t register properly. The auto-save feature doesn’t work, so be sure to save regularly! Lastly, some of the puzzles felt frustrating or like unnecessary filler.
